Dr Bayoud is an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery specialized in joint replacement surgery, advanced arthroscopy and surgical sports medicine (Sorbonne University).

After graduating from Saint Joseph University, he pursued his training at Hotel Dieu de France and moved to Pitié Salpêtrière hospital, Paris in 2016, affiliated to Paris-Diderot University. He gained experience in minimally invasive direct anterior approach hip replacement, arthroscopy, spine surgery, complex trauma cases and sports injuries.

In 2017, Dr.Bayoud completed a 1 year fellowship in arthrosocopy and reconstructive surgery in Clinique Arago and Clinique des Lilas, Paris. In the same year, he obtained the sports medicine diploma from SORBONNE University and was ranked top 3 (over 100 participants). Consequently, he was invited to join the ADMTS group (Association des médecins de traumatologie du sport), where he made international contacts and set ground for future cooperation in the sport surgery field.

In November 2018, Dr.Bayoud was asked to re-join the well-known Pitié Salpêtrière hospital in Paris, as an attending surgeon (Chef de Clinique)  where his practice consisted of primary and revision joint reconstructive and replacement surgery (upper and lower limb), arthroscopy (shoulder, hip, knee and ankle) and advanced sport surgeries.  He was the referral orthopedic surgeon for the management of complex knee ligament injuries.

Furthermore, Dr.Bayoud earned a Masters degree in Biomechanics (Ecole nationale supérieure des arts et métiers, Paris), university diplomas in Arthroscopy (Paris-Nord university), Shoulder & Elbow surgery (Paris-Creteil university), and Microsurgery (USJ).

 

In November 2019, Dr. Bayoud returned to Lebanon and joined well known hospitals to deliver the best orthopedic care to his patients. In addition, he often goes to Doha, Qatar to share his expertise there.

He is a member of the Medical Olympic Committee, Medical Committee of the Lebanese Federation of Basketball, and the Medical Committee of Taekwondoo Federation., the AO Trauma Foundation, the French Orthopaedic Society (SOFCOT), the French Society of Arthroscopy (SFA), the French association of Sports Medicine (ADMTS), and the Lebanese Society of Orthopedics.

He is highly interested in clinical research as he has published in many orthopaedic journals, has written book chapters, and has been a speaker at international and regional meetings.
